Prevention
The APC coordinates community- wide projects and events to raise awareness of the issues and realities of teen pregnancy in an effort to lower Brown County 's teen birth rate. The Children of Children CD project has been used by health professionals and schools as part of this effort.
Resource Booklet
The APC produces a user friendly information booklet of local health and support resources for pregnant and parenting teens, available online as well as in hardcover. Resource Booklet (PDF format)
House of Hope - "A Second Chance Home"
30 to 50 moms are identified each year as homeless or living in unsafe circumstances in Brown County . The APC partners with St. Vincent de Paul and Brown County United Way to support the "House of Hope". The second chance home provides a safe and supervised environment for at-risk or homeless teen mothers, who are 18 years or older, and their children.
