History of The Adolescent Parenting Coalition, Inc.

The Adolescent Parenting Coalition Inc. was established in 1993, by individuals and organizations concerned about the issue of teen pregnancy in NE Wisconsin . Committees concerned with prevention and intervention were formed to coordinate services to pregnant and parenting teens. In 1996, a strategic plan was developed and provided additional focus and direction. The APC, Inc. was incorporated in 1998 as a WI 501(c)3 non- profit organization. In 2003, the strategic plan was reviewed and as a result a new vision/mission statement was adopted by the APC board in 2004.
